ESSER Funds Survey

Dear Parents and Caregivers:

As some of you may know, the Windsor Southeast Supervisory Union, along with every school district in Vermont, is taking part in the Elementary and Secondary Education Relief Fund (ESSER) as a means to develop strategies of recovery for those students who struggled through the Pandemic. The relief monies have been distributed in three stages (ESSER I, II, and III). ESSER I and II are already accounted for since they had a tighter timeline. It is one of the ways we are funding our Summer Academy this year. We have NOT submitted for ESSER III yet and it will be the largest share of the ESSER relief funds.

In order to do a more comprehensive review of our plan, we are asking our communities for formal feedback in a survey. I will put the survey link at the end of this email. You will note that our Recovery Plan, which is directly tied to our Supervisory Union Strategic Plan, is linked on the first page of the survey. So I would certainly take a look at that first. The fact sheet can also be found here.

We value your input and hope for strong participation.  To that end, for each completed survey you will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a variety of prizes.  If you have any questions, please contact our Recovery Coordinator, Brittany Preston at brittany.preston@wsesu.net.

The link to the survey is here. We appreciate your participation.
