SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATION SERVICES (SES)
All students that receive Free and Reduced meals may choose to use the Supplemental Education Services at no charge. Funding for SES is limited and the school is required to give priority to the lowest achieving students.
Supplemental Education Services allow families to choose from different eligible providers. SES providers are screened by the Vermont Department of Education. SES providers must meet with you and discuss a service contract. The contract sets clear expectations and must be signed by all parties.
Here are the steps to apply for SES:
- Ensure that your family’s application for Free and Reduced meals has been returned to the school and approved by a school official.
- Decide whether your child/ren could profit from additional academic support during the after school hours and whether you could provide transportation from school to home after SES sessions.
- Complete the application for SES services and choose a provider. The list of providers is included in this packet including the location and area of service. If you do not choose a provider, the school will choose one for you.
If we can assist you in any way with the decision or application, please feel free to call our office at 1-802-674-2310.
