Coach Ladue Reaches #400!

Windsor High School Varsity Boys Basketball coach Harry Ladue reached a significant milestone on Monday, January 25th, with victory number 400 of his career. A former WHS standout athlete himself, Coach Ladue took the reigns of the program in the early-1980s, and after a few rough years built a program that has become a perennial power. From 1988-89 to 2010-11, playing in Div. 2, Harry's teams were 313-200 with Four State Championships and 10 trips to the Final Four. The last five seasons have been in Div. 3 and the record to date is 55-42 with a single trip to Final Four in 2011-12.
In his usual humble manner, Coach Ladue addressed the crowd Monday and attributed his success to long-standing community support, great kids, great athletes, and a network of youth coaches and assistants past and present that help develop a lasting program. One need look no further than this year's undefeated JV Boys team guided by former player, Larry Dougher, to see evidence of Harry's assertion. This year's Varsity Boys team currently sits atop the Division 3 standings, sporting a 14-1 record, with sights set clearly on returning Harry to the Barre Auditorium at the end of the season.
Good Luck to the team, and Thanks & Congratulations again to Coach Ladue.
