GIRLS VAR. SOCCER: Dropped a tough 7-1 decision to a strong Stevens High team. Maddie Morse had the Windsor goal with an assist from Emily Williams. The team is now 1-1-0 on the season and will host Bellows Falls tomorrow.
VAR. FIELD HOCKEY: Won 3-0 over Springfield behind 2 goals by Haley Wood with one assisted by Ashleay Wilcox and McKenzie Hartwell had a goal assisted by Haley. Emma Saucier had the shut-out in goal. The team is off until Saturday when they travel to Fair Haven. The team is now 2-1-0 on the season.
J.H. SOCCER: In their first game of the season the JH Girls Soccer had a big win against a Hartford co-ed team 8-1 behind a balanced scoring attack that saw goals from 7 different players. Olivia Rockwell had 2 goals and an assist, Maddie McCorkle a goal and 2 assists, and Carah Ruggs, Hannah Eastridge, Samantha Ockington, Mercedes Simoneau, and Maggie Gilman each with a goal.
The JH Boys soccer team, despite some great passing and ball control, came up short 5-3 vs the Hartford boys. Hunter Grela scored 2 goals off well placed passes from Ryan DuCharme and Andrew Kelly-Jacobs. Needing a few players to fill the roster Victoria Sauer made the most of the opportunity with the 3rd goal. Windsor Goalies Justin McKenrick and Maggie Gilman each stopped penalty kicks to help keep the game close.
BOYS J.V. SOCCER: Will host Newport at the Fairgrounds at 4:30 PM.
J.H. FOOTBALL: Will host Lebanon at 4:00 PM.
