Zed McNaughton, Dory Hindinger, Tori McNamara, Olivia Magliola and Brooke Hindinger will represent Weathersfield School at the WSESU Geography Bee. This year’s competition will be held here at Weathersfield on March 26th from 12:30-2. This Bee is the first leg of the Vermont Principals Association/AAA New England Travel partnership. Albert Bridge, Hartland and Weatherfield will vie for the right to represent the SU at a regional meet in April and a possible trip to Montpelier for the finals in May.

Tentative Last Day of School
If we have no more snow days this school year, our last day of school will be Thursday, June 13th, (at noon- early release day). I'll keep you updated on this as we have had snow days in March and April before. Some folks have asked me about this, so I suspected you all might be wondering.
Spring Concert is just around the corner
Mr. Shambo, WS Music Teacher, is happy to announce that this year’s K-8 concert, which is Tuesday, April 9, from 6:00 to 7:30 pm in the gym, (snow date will be the next night, same time), will be animal themed and named “Wild, Wild, Weathersfield”! All students in grades K-6 will be performing songs about animals. For this performance, it would be great if all students dressed up in as much animal clothing as possible; even if it is pajamas! Please remember that students in grades 5-8 are required to attend the performance as it is assessed. If your child is unable to attend and are in grades 5-8, they will need a note to be excused from the performance! Lots of fun will be had by all! This event is open to the public, so please join us!
It appears that the FY 20 calendar that went out last Friday had the wrong day for Columbus Day. It is the 14th not the 7th, so here is a corrected calendar. Sorry for the error.
