We have lots going on at WS this week, so I wanted to send out some reminders:
Yesterday was Blue Up Day to remind girls and boys to stamp out bullying. We wore a sea of blue yesterday and it was a visual reminder that bullying is not allowed and can be very damaging.
The Lion's Club will be here tomorrow to check our vision.
Walk to School Day is tomorrow. We are meeting at the World Under Wonder at 7:30 am!
Track My Progress assessments are going on right now and results will be sent home on October 18th with a cover letter explaining to parents how to read the tests. Call the school if you have questions!
Picture Day is on Friday!
Our 2 WS Spelling Teams go to Hartland for the WSESU competitions on Wed. Wish us luck!
Olivia Larochelle, Grade 5, is doing a community service project and is collecting donations for the Cas Cad Nac Animal Rescue Shelter here in Ascutney, Vermont. She has a big box in the front foyer until this Friday. Dog and cat items such as food, beds, toys, etc are welcome. They can be dropped off here at school.
No school on Monday as it is a legal holiday, Indigenous Peoples Day.
Enjoy this sunshine!
