National Geographic Bee competition

Brooke Hindinger, a fifth grade student at the Weathersfield School, won the school-level competition of the National Geographic Bee on December 7th, 2017.  She will now advance to the state competition which will be held at Castleton University, Castleton, Vermont, on Friday, April 6th, 2018.  This will be the second level of the National Geographic Bee competition, which is now in its 30th year.

Each state champion will receive $200, the National Geographic Visual Atlas of the World, and a trip to Washington, D.C. to represent their state in the National Geographic Bee Championship to be held May 20 - 24th, 2018.
