Quizbowl update

There's a new group of competitors in town at Windsor High School. Very late last spring a group of WHS students learned about a competition called Quiz Bowl. Quiz Bowl is a game format where students from different high schools answer a series of question related to a broad range of content knowledge. Questions can be related to history, science, contemporary problems, mathematics, etc. While the majority of teams from other high schools have designated time to practice in preparation for meets, WHS students have not, primarily because they're new to the game. This motivated group of scholars decided to throw their names into the competitors ring and go head to head with other participating high schools during the first scholarly meet of 2019. The team won 4 out of 10 matches and placed 2nd in the B-bracket. Most importantly, the team has been inspired to continue on to the next few rounds of the Quiz Bowl.
