Looks like rain for most of tomorrow, so we have devised a cool back- up plan for the host of activities we have planned.
We will have lunch at tables in the AP room and we will have colorful blankets in the main hallway, (blankets to the left as you look down the main hallway and traffic stays to the right, next to lockers), so students and adults will have a choice of where they would like to eat.
At 11:30 am, grade 5-8 students will eat, supervised by their 5-8 teachers, (as specialists and paraprofessionals will be eating at this time). When they are done eating, Mrs. Oakman and Mr. Rich will supervise 5-8 students in the gym for an impromptu drumming session.
At noon, all volunteers and K-4 students will eat lunch, supervised by specialists and paraprofessionals, (K-8 teachers will be having their lunch at this time). The students and volunteers will join us in the gym when they are done eating, (we expect that will be about 12:30 pm).
A brief thank you to volunteers will be done by BJ Esty and JM Oakman.
Mr. Rich will do a 45 minute performance with his rock star students and volunteers.
At approximately 1:30 pm, the faculty and staff will take on grade 8 students in a high stakes game.
All students will leave by bus or parent pick-up at 2:30 pm.
From 4:00 to 6:00 pm, we will enjoy a family dance in the gym. K-4 students must be accompanied by an adult.
All of these events are FREE and open to the public.
If no rain, we will move outside, but using these times.
See you tomorrow!
