On Wednesday, May 17th, the 5th and 6th graders from Windsor Schools hosted the Windsor Community Dinner at the American Legion. Students came to set up and to serve foods made by their families and school faculty. Dishes included items like pasta salad, chicken alfredo, pasta and meatballs, caesar salad and chicken dumplings. Even our principal, Ms. Cassano, came to help. After approximately 60 guests in attendance enjoyed seconds of the entrees they were offered desserts from Panera Bread, brownies, cupcakes, and even cheesecake made by a Windsor Schools faculty member. Events like these are critical for students to experience and they were grateful for the opportunity to participate. We are looking forward to hosting more dinners during the next school year.
