Next Wednesday, March 8th at 12:15, the Weathersfield Geography Team will travel to Windsor to compete in the first leg of the Vermont Principal’s Association Geography Bee. They will be joined by teams of 5th through 8th grade students from Albert Bridge, Hartland and Windsor. The winning school advances to a regional competition in April and a possible trip to the state final in May.
This year returning team members Jasmine Martens, Johnathan Maclachlan and Zed McNaughton will be joined by Hunter Watkins to represent our school.
This hour and a half competition consists of three rounds and includes a series world, U.S, and local geography themed questions. We hope to have the results in next week’s newsletter.
