Thank you to the many people that attended last night's K-8 winter concert! What a crowd; I've never seen so many people in one room before! Many folks shared their ideas with me on the way out last night and here is the feedback I do remember, (some of you will recognize the comments that are yours, I'm sure):
Please do all concerts K-8, so we can see all the children perform! (I think I had at least five people share this idea with me)
The bands are doing great! The older band was fantastic!
Love that recorders are taught to students. Wish all kids could play!
Love the energy of the music teacher! He's breathed new life into this program.
The whole program was one hour and 10 minutes, perfect!
The kids love Mr. Shambo; thanks for hiring a great music teacher!
Can you post the video of the whole program; it was awesome? (I'm looking into making that happen today)
Can you make me a copy of the video?
The students were fantastic!
What a great concert! You could feel the positive energy in the room!
The music program is 100% better, thank you!
Thanks for providing a bus for those of us who parked at the church.
I am sending this message out in hopes that you will take the time to send me a quick email, call me on the phone, or stop me in the market to share your thinking. This school takes great stock in what the community thinks about the work we do on behalf of children. I promise to read every response and share it with faculty and staff as we reflect on our concerts in an effort to make them even better!
