Weathersfield Cross Country Race

Ever wonder what a group of Panthers is called?  (Pause for dramatic effect)  Don't worry google is still trying to find me an answer.  Yesterday an excited group of anxious panthers took the field on the grassy hills of Kurn Hattin, to challenge themselves as well as a host of other competitors to a race.  New to the pack, fifth graders Anneka and Dory took center stage in their quest for perfection.  Both finished incredibly strong, scattering any antelope from the field as they crossed the finish line in their first race ever!  The older cats prowled onto the line against almost 90 other would be contenders.  Zed chased down a few Purple BF Terriers in a fierce run to place 5th over all with a time of 9:17.  Streaking through the trees right behind, almost tripping on his tail were,  Alicia in 11 minutes 17 seconds, Reese 13 minutes 31 seconds, Madeline 14 minutes 32 seconds and Aria finishing her first 1.5 mile race ever with at time of 15:08. Lets give three shouts to these incredible and perhaps slightly insane Weathersfield Athletes.....Go Panthers!
