Brrrr!

The school does not take children outside for recess or activities when the temperature is 10 degrees or less, (its 5 degrees with the windchill as I write this). The forecast for tomorrow is somewhere between -20 and -60 degrees with the windchill.  Just a reminder that students are still wearing shorts and short sleeves to school.  Some students are coming to school without coats, hats or mittens.  (Let us know if any child needs these items). This is a perfect time to remind your children that frostbite is imminent if they are not dressed properly for the extreme weather conditions. Under the advisement of our superintendent, you may want to wait in a heated car at the bus stop before the bus arrives tonight and tomorrow morn, as an extra precaution.  Any parent who feels the temperatures are too extreme, please feel free to keep your child/children home and just let the school know.

Stay warm!
JeanMarie
