Dear HES parents,

As a precaution to this release from the Hartford Police we are asking teachers to tighten up at dismissal this afternoon for students being picked up. We are also asking the bus drivers to encourage the students not to linger at their bus stops this afternoon. This is especially important for the younger students. Our older students will be reminded to utilize the buddy system while waiting for practices or games and to make good use of the Teen Room at the school until 5:15 each day. With the continuation of this recent weather predicted for tomorrow we are likely to have many of our students out and about this weekend. Thank you for your support on this important issue.  We are not intending to alarm you... just wanting to keep you in the loop.

Have a great weekend.

Jeff Moreno

Principal
