Technology Safety

No - You DON'T Know It All.

OK. I'm going to tell it like it is - and, I'm going to get right to the point: HES is sponsoring a free event tomorrow night that you NEED to attend. If you think you don't need to attend, you are probably wrong. Why? Because technology is now a huge part of our daily lives - and, the lives of our children. Some of this is good - some of this is not so good. The not so good and just plain dangerous part is what you should all know about.

About 98% of every bullying, harassment, mean or just plain buckle-headed behavior that comes my way includes some kind of Internet, social media, or texting component. So - Tomorrow evening, Tuesday, January 13th - Technology Safety Guru Dan Ozimek from Prevent Child Abuse Vermont will be here at Hartland Elementary School in the School Library from 6:30PM to 7:30PM sharing his expert knowledge and tips for safe technology use for you and your kiddos. Free child care will be provided.

Bottom Line: This presentation is simply too important for you to miss!

Plan on attending.

I predict you'll be glad you did.

Gene Morse,
Guidance Counselor
