Seventh grade students visited Paradise Park and Lake Runnemede in order to water test three different sites beginning with a location known locally as the Spaghetti Pot. The students will determine Ph, dissolvable oxygen, phosphorous, and nitrogen levels in addition to measuring the hardness of the water. They will also examine samples under the microscope looking for algae and other signs of life. This collection and analysis of data will contribute to a classroom discussion around the health of aquatic sources.
