National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day

Saturday, September 27th is National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day. Getting old or unused prescription drugs out of the home is a proven way to prevent drug misuse or abuse.

Mt Ascutney Prevention Partnership, and its partners at Windsor County Prevention Partners, wants to let parents know that if you have any unused or old medications in your home, you can safely dispose of them Saturday, September 27 at the Windsor Police Station, Hartford Police Station, and Springfield Police Station in the Drop Box located in the lobby, or at the Weathersfield Transfer Station.

The Windsor,  Hartford, and Springfield Police Stations have permanent Drop Boxes to safely dispose of medications. Turn in your unused or expired medications for safe disposal as needed during regular Police Station lobby hours. No questions asked. Keep your community safe & healthy!
