Most of you know that the Town of Hartland does not have its own High School and therefore falls under the, "High School of Choice" category. Hartland residents with high school age children may choose whichever high school they feel best fits the individual needs of their child.
This system has many advantages, but can also be a double-edged sword. It provides a superlative assortment of high schools from which to choose, but making that choice is often overwhelming for students and parents and guardians.
In an effort to help you all start the process of making an informed decision ASAP, we will host a High School Fair event here on Tuesday, October 21st, 2014, from 7:00 until 8:30 PM. This year we are opening up the fair to any K-8 students, family, and community members who would like to attend.
Your participation in this event helps provide answers to many questions, and in doing so, helps to assuage some attending anxiety. Eight local high schools have confirmed that they will be at the presentation and will try to bring student representatives.
Essentially, each school has a table set up in our Muti-Purpose Room (aka “Cafe-Gym-Atorium”) where high school representatives will distribute materials and answer questions about their programs and campus.
Feedback following the three previous High School Fairs has been overwhelmingly positive. Mark your calendars now so that you don't miss this important event!
