Passion....isn't that what we want every boy and girl to feel about their education?
Recently, two WS eighth graders decided that they needed to do more for an upcoming raffle that would benefit their 8th grade class to Boston, this coming June. On their day off, (no school last Friday for kids), Brooke McKeen and Emily Lang decided to make signs announcing the raffle, select abusy location, brushed up on their salesman cue cards, printed, cut and stapled tickets and then camped out all day on Saturday to sell the most tickets they could! Who wouldn't buy from these two??? These young ladies sold over $250.00 in tickets.! I like their attitude, stick-with-it-ness and ingenuity....congratulations, Brooke and Emily....the world needs more leaders like YOU!
